The Stay the Nightstand is inspired by one we have in our guest bedroom, but it’s even better. What we liked and kept: The chamfered edges of the cabinet surrounding the drawer. How we made it so much more special: The sapele cabinet is mitered at the corners and milled from a single board. Doing so retains a continuous grain from the top to each of the sides (known as a waterfall effect). The push-to-open and close drawer slides eliminate the need for a drawer pull. This provides an even more minimalist look as well as briefly confusing our guests, which is amusing. And lastly, we added a sliding shelf inside the deep drawer to help with organization - a super neat feature that will keep your nightstand a little neater.
